We went to Kiwi Kiss for dinner and it was an outstanding experience!

First of all, the interior design and vibe was super chic, the furniture design and choices are of excellent taste. The staff were friendly and had really good attention to detail. The restaurant seemed clean and well maintained.

The food above our expectations, we simply asked for what they make best and the waitress suggested the entre and main course.

For the entre, I opted for the ‘Amazing NZ Mussel Chicken Mornay’ and it was in fact amazing. The mussels were cooked to perfection and beautifully displayed. I could have done with a bit less mayo sauce as I’m not a real fan and I think it may have hidden the beautiful taste of the New Zealand fresh mussels. Apart from this, it was a real treat and pleasure to eat. We also had complementary bread slices with garlic butter and salt which were delightful and surprisingly fresh.

For the main I went for the ‘Seductive Hot Manuka Smoked Salmon’ and I can summarized my experience with one word: WOW. The salmon was impressively soft and was melting in the mouth. I know we hear this quiet often but, in this case, it is the absolute truth. The combination of flavors were divine and I really enjoyed the fact that this time the sauce was served on the side of the plate as well as the roast potatoes and vegetable parcel. HIGHLY recommended dish in my opinion, you will not regret your selection if you go for that dish.

For desert, I had a ‘Kiwi Koffee Affogato’ which was interesting and full of flavor. The coffee is home made and will give you a nice kick, as it is rich in flavor and surprisingly sweet. I highly recommend you to try the coffee at the restaurant!

Overall we had a great time and a wonderful experience, we will definitely come again to KiwiKiss with a smile on our faces and great food and our tummy.

This is a definite go-to place for something a little different, hugely amazing, and away from the buzz of the city.

Firstly let me start by saying KIWI KISS IS AMAZING!!! Everyone should experience this place, not just once but as many times as possible.

Walking into the restaurant, I automatically got a really good vibe. The decor is beautiful - whoever designed the place has some really good taste. We were greeted immediately, sat down and walked through the menu. The waitresses suggested their favourite items on the menu and talked about what makes Kiwi Kiss special - highlighting the fact that they roast their own coffee beans and put it through a slow drip for amazing flavour.

I chose the Edamame Bean Salad for starters and thought it was very tasty. The beans were definitely a highlight of this dish - cooked really well and showcased on a beautiful plate. It was accompanied with a fresh salad of cabbage, carrot etc. Best of all, this only took 15 minutes to come out so it was perfect for my grumbling tummy!

Next we had a palette cleanser which was a divine mango sorbet. It was so incredibly smooth and tasty - I could have had another!!

For main, I chose the beef ribs which were accompanied with roast potatoes and a vegetable parcel. The beef just fell off the bone and the sauce wasn't too overpowering. I really enjoyed my choice but preferred my partners plate which was the Manuka Salmon. Holy moly his dish was SO GOOD!!!

For dessert, I chose the brownie with a trio of gelato's - White Chocolate & Wasabi, Mandarin Chocolate, and Chocolate. The brownie was gorgeous! It came out warm and gooey and the trio of gelato's matched it perfectly. The presentation was outstanding too!

Overall, the night was definitely a 10/10. The service was excellent, the food came out fast and was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would DEFINITELY go back there and would recommend this hidden away gem to anyone!
